What our students can offer

Work Readiness

Our students are intelligent and articulate individuals, with high levels of literacy and numeracy.  They are able communicators, quick to learn and have the ability to fit into a team easily.

Skills

Many of our students offer substantial work experience or high-level specialist skills.  The JobShop and the Career Development Centre work in partnership to provide our students with information, talks and workshops so that they are aware of the kind of work place skills that employers are looking for.

Enthusiasm

Students are keen and dedicated workers who, since the decline of the grant and increasingly expensive living costs, need to work during their course.  Our students also value part-time work as an excellent opportunity to improve and pick up new skills, which will help raise their employability when they graduate.  They are flexible, adaptable and able to accept high levels of responsibility.
