Very few things is life are free so it is amazing to think that the Hannah Maclure Centre runs a free film programme in its 72 seat cinema.

Every second Monday Movie Club screens an array of cinematic classics.  Films are chosen by the audience linked to the previous screening either through director, actors, writers, music, cinematography, theme, genre mood ….. This way a broad range of films are screened and debated, inevitably throwing up some very interesting connections and offering up some tantalising films you have never seen or have ever considered before.

An international film programme is planned to run over the summer, a Freshers’ Film Festival during 15 – 19 September and regular student screenings are scheduled for the coming year.
